Job Summary
Scraper Operator for Civil Construction at Sunland Asphalt in Phoenix, AZ. Operate heavy equipment including pavers, rollers, screeds, and related machinery to apply asphalt per job specifications; maintain safety and quality standards; coordinate with Foreman and crew; conduct pre/post-trip inspections if driving CMVs; assist in equipment maintenance and site clean-up; serve as a front-line company representative delivering excellent service to customers and the public; participate in safety meetings and training; communicate effectively with truck drivers and laborers to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months to one year related experience preferred
- CDL license preferred for some departments
