Job Summary
Inspect, grade, and purchase non-ferrous materials while interacting with customers to deliver a positive experience. Weigh and inspect all incoming scrap, then identify and sort materials, removing or upgrading items as needed. Input and record transaction data in the computer system, maintain inventory records, and operate hi-lo, loader, or manual processing equipment. Ship material and support the team with packaging to fulfill sales orders. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition while following prescribed safety regulations.

- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy in operation and attention to detail
- Knowledge in inventory control
Desired Qualifications
- Six months operating small equipment experience preferred
