Job Summary
Procurement Consultant responsible for developing sourcing strategies for labor, services, materials, and equipment in a public utility power generation context. Leads cross-functional sourcing events, negotiates contracts, writes contract details including terms and conditions and risk mitigations, manages supplier performance and contract compliance, coordinates with category managers, and supports category strategy development with market, supplier, and spend analyses. Requires collaboration with business partners and suppliers to deliver high-value manufactured equipment and materials, including transportation/storage considerations. Based in Columbus, OH with onsite work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or other related field; OR 6 years of relevant work experience in the utility, manufacturing, or construction industry is preferred.
- 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience working with cross-functional teams is required.
