Job Summary
SCM Sr Specialist responsible for inventory control activities supporting Nissan and Infiniti dealerships and export customers. Manages planning and placing service part orders with Nissan-approved global suppliers, expedites and follows up orders into Nissan’s distribution network, and collaborates cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, packaging, dealer support, APO, PPE, Engineering, TCS, and other teams. Daily duties include supplier coordination to ensure timely shipment, obtaining ETA information, expediting critical parts to resolve backorders, identifying supplier challenges with the NNA team, monitoring demand changes, performing advanced forecast maintenance, demand management, and replenishment of orders, and assisting with SOPs, special projects, and leadership/mentoring of junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related
- Minimum 5+ years of directly related professional experience in supply chain/inventory control functions
- Experience using MRP or other dynamic inventory control systems (4+ years)
- Background in master scheduling, engineering change control, statistical analysis, inventory control systems, obsolescence control, and familiarity with purchasing systems
- Leading or directing other team members
- Basic understanding of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to supply and demand
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Inventory Control and Forecast Planning Tools
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interface with management
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with suppliers
- Travel required: up to 20%
- Advanced English level (minimum 500 TOEIC points)
