SCM Purchasing Supervisor

Manage import and domestic purchasing operations, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating price and delivery schedules, and issuing on-time purchase orders. Analyze purchasing price trends, resolve cost issues, and compile detailed cost breakdowns while working with legal counsel on procurement contracts. Monitor cargo movement from door to door with freight forwarders, shippers, and customs brokers, verify invoices against delivered quantities, and track inventory to prevent shortages or overstock. Maintain vendor relationships, follow up on compliance issues, and participate in monthly physical inventory checks to support seamless product flow across the supply chain.
