Job Summary
Plan and execute large-scale university and alumni events, serving as the primary point of contact for logistics including venue reservations, audio/visual needs, catering, and transportation. Coordinate special programs for Athletics, Alumni Affairs, and student organizations while managing budgets, guest engagement strategies, and complex volunteer requirements. Act as the central hub for operational delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across diverse stakeholders and maintaining discretion with sensitive information. This role requires high autonomy to manage multiple ongoing projects with attention to detail, often involving nights, weekends, and holidays to support the campus community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination
- Demonstrated planning, project management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with standard office computer applications (Microsoft Office, Internet, Desktop Publishing software)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proven experience connecting inclusion, belonging and wellbeing practices to business goals
- Availability to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, and some holidays
