Job Summary
Lead product development initiatives under the Snacking team by driving R&D workstreams for brands like Lunchables, P3, and OM Bites. Execute technical projects from ideation to commercialization, including developing new formulations, portfolio renovation, and customer product solutions. Manage concurrent assignments to meet timelines while leading supply resiliency, quality improvement, and maintenance projects. Conduct product testing, qualification, and commercialization in laboratory and production environments, utilizing experimental design to make technically sound recommendations. Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing facilities to coordinate commercialization activities and develop relationships across teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Food Science, Food Engineering, Dairy Science, Meat Science, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or 1 year of relevant experience with Master's or no relevant experience with PhD
- Product development and commercialization experience
- Understanding of ingredient functionality and interrelationship of ingredients and process
- Excellent communication, influencing, prioritization, and project management skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make connections to the big picture
- Manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently with the ability to question the priority of work
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time
