Job Summary
Lead the Air Vehicle program for Advanced Solutions Group by providing technical oversight of pursuits, proposals, and execution while ensuring accuracy in cost, scope, and schedule. Guide, coach, and train team members; compile and present extensive technical material to Executive Leadership, customers, and end users. Establish overall direction for new processes and systems, negotiate programmatic expectations, and act as a technical adviser to engineering leadership. Walk the flight line, work in aircraft hangars, and board aircraft as required. This role supports mission-critical defense technology solutions connecting space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains. Requires a Bachelor's or Graduate degree with 12+ years of experience, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 12 years of experience throughout the total lifecycle of programs, including proposals, bids, planning, assessing/managing risk, execution, and delivery
- Graduate Degree
- 10 years of experience throughout the total lifecycle of programs, including proposals, bids, planning, assessing/managing risk, execution, and delivery
- Minimum of 16 years of experience throughout the total lifecycle of programs, including proposals, bids, planning, assessing/managing risk, execution, and delivery
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Ability to travel occasionally, to include internationally
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Understanding of aircraft systems, and various mission systems
- Familiarity with FAA (Part 23 and 25) and military aircraft airworthiness design approach, certification process, and requirements
- Working knowledge of the processes used by the downstream consumers of ASE engineering products
- Knowledge of manpower planning, milestone scheduling, and related financial management
- Must be able to walk to and from the flight line, work in aircraft hangar environment and board/exit aircraft
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Outstanding communication (both verbally and written), negotiation, collaboration, time management, presentation, and organizational skills

- Active Secret Clearance
- Task Lead or Product Lead experience especially on large prototype programs
