Job Summary
Independently conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses, perform complex analytical testing, and troubleshoot non-standard problems. Evaluate data for scientifically sound interpretation, ensure data integrity through QC review, and lead method development, validation, and optimization activities. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments while maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation in accordance with GxP requirements. Provide guidance and training to junior staff, contribute to root cause analysis, and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reliability. Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis, or chemistry with four years of bioanalytical industry experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis or chemistry
- 4 or more years of experience in bioanalytical industry
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
- Experience with use and trouble shooting of analytical equipment
- Ability to design and independently conduct tests for chemistry projects and provide initial analysis of results
