Job Summary
Independently conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses, perform complex analytical testing, and troubleshoot non-standard technical issues. Evaluate data for scientifically sound interpretation, execute QC reviews, and lead method development, validation, and optimization activities. Operate, maintain, and qualify laboratory instruments while ensuring all documentation meets GxP requirements. Provide guidance to junior staff, suggest workflow modifications, and contribute to root cause analysis for deviations. Collaborate with internal teams to improve analytical process efficiency and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in biology, medicine or other analytical fields
- 3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, MS-Access and Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in large molecule bioanalysis
- Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
- Experience with analytical instrumentation
- Acts as a technical resource for the department (troubleshooting, method development, qualification, maintenance and training)
