Job Summary
The Staff Research Associate will provide laboratory support and assist in the development and commercialization of products for chemical-mechanical planarization applications. Responsibilities include performing lab-based polishing experiments, executing CMP slurry characterizations, conducting formulation experiments, and maintaining laboratory inventory and equipment. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and experience in wet-chemistry, along with the ability to analyze data and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering or Engineering Science with 5 years related experience
- Master’s degree in the same fields with 2 years related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with wet-chemistry and instrumentation used in chemistry laboratories
- Ability to plan experiments and analyze experimental data using statistical techniques
- Skilled in the use of instrumentation in a wet lab environment to measure particles, slurries, and chemical compositions
- Effective communication skills
- Flexible and innovative mindset
