Job Summary
Scientist II to design, develop, and characterize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery systems. Responsible for formulating novel LNP compositions, performing comprehensive analytical characterization (size, zeta potential, morphology, encapsulation efficiency, etc.), developing bioconjugation strategies to functionalize LNP surfaces with targeting ligands, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate formulation performance, toxicity, and efficacy. Maintain meticulous ELN and contribute to technical reports and regulatory filings. Requires staying current with literature, troubleshooting, and evaluating new technologies to improve the delivery platform; on-site manufacturing and lab work are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience or postdoctoral experience or non-PhD with 10-12+ years of relevant experience
