Job Summary
Scientist II Interventional Oncology to join the Discovery Biology team in Spring House, PA. Responsibilities include executing end-to-end in vivo pharmacology experiments (tumor cell culture, implantation, dosing, and tissue collection), daily monitoring of in vivo studies, collaboration with SIS staff and veterinary teams, planning and executing in vivo syngeneic and xenograft studies, conducting in vitro and ex vivo immunology experiments (cancer, myeloid, and T-cell co-cultures), applying diverse cellular/molecular techniques (cell/organoid assays, FACS, ELISA, MSD, qRT-PCR), data analysis and ELN entry, maintaining detailed records, and supporting ordering and day-to-day lab activities. Qualifications emphasize 3-5 years post-bachelor experience or an MS with relevant pharmaceutical/biotech exposure, proficiency with animal handling and welfare/regulations, and willingness to perform occasional after-hours work. Employment is contingent upon training compliance and requires strong communication and teamwork in a matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Tumor Immunology) with 3-5 years of industry/biotech/academic experience OR Master’s degree with relevant pharmaceutical/biotech/academic experience
