Job Summary
Design and execute workflows to conceive, build, and assess in vivo gene insertion in primary cells, including T cells. Collaborate with internal groups and vendors to advance editing and delivery projects toward clinical readiness. Iterate on assessing editing efficiency, gene insertion, and construct expression while ideating new strategies. Design and execute ddPCR assays to quantify transgene integration and perform multicolor flow cytometry for T cell phenotyping. Leverage immunology expertise to drive innovative editing, delivery, and expression approaches. Analyze and present experimental data across audiences, maintaining organized data records with statistical analysis and troubleshooting. Work cross-functionally to assess outcomes in animal models.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive prior experience with gene editing and synthetic immunology in an academic and/or industry setting, with a track record demonstrating significant contributions
- PhD with minimum of 2-5+ years relevant experience
- non-PhD with 10-12+ years progressive, relevant experience
- Excellent technical skills for cloning, flow cytometry, primary T cell culturing, editing assays, and assessment of T cell phenotype and function
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities; ability to jump in to help other projects as needed
- Strong communicator with a demonstrated record of being a highly collaborative team player within and across multiple departments
