Formulation Scientist - Lab Support for Formulation Development responsibilities include executing formulation development efforts for investigational pharmaceutical products, including solid dosage forms and liquid solutions and suspensions. Prepare formulations with material weighing/dispensing, blending, processing, and operation of associated equipment; perform physical and chemical characterization of formulations; handle potent compound formulations; manage shipping, restocking, and dispensing of materials; document and report results; collaborate with a scientific supervisor and other technical groups; support laboratory investigations and administrative activities; perform cell assays with prepared formulations; maintain calendar of activities. Qualifications include a BS/MS in chemistry, materials science, or engineering; 1-2 years of relevant experience for Scientist 2 or MS with no experience; strong lab, analytical, verbal and written communication skills; comfort working in a laboratory setting with strict safety adherence. Desirable experience includes wet lab handling of chemicals/powders, tablet compression, film coating, dissolution testing, and related formulation techniques. This is a full-time on-site role at Parexel FSP in Rahway, NJ, with benefits and no sponsorship.
