Job Summary
Conduct recombinant antibody development through meticulous experimental planning and execution. Maintain accurate records in data sheets and laboratory notebooks while actively participating in team meetings. Regularly mine literature to stay current with advancements in antibody development and compile data for written and oral presentations. Troubleshoot scientific problems and present findings to support advanced product development goals.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or equivalent with 0-4 years' experience or a PhD in a life sciences field (submitted within the last one year)
- strong focus on molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology or biochemistry
- Ability to process blood or tissue and isolate cells, particularly mammalian PBMCs and splenocytes
- Thorough knowledge of immunology and flow cytometry
- Demonstrated proficiency in ELISA, and other immunoassays
- Working knowledge and experience in molecular biology workflows such as high-throughput molecular cloning, plasmid vector construction, PCRs, Restriction digestion, Ligation, Transformation, Mini and maxi preps, sequencing
- Ability to provide technical trouble shooting to resolve scientific problems
- Proficient in MS Office and statistical software such as GraphPad Prism
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in aseptic expansion and maintenance of mammalian cancer cell lines and primary cells, including accurate cryopreservation
- experience in cell sorting
- Theoretical or practical experience in antibody development platforms
- Project or work experience in support of relevant skills such as publications, project reports or thesis work
- self-motivated and a self-starter who is excellent at learning and applying new concepts for process or product improvements
- excellent oral and written communication skills to connect to peers and leadership
- excellent teammate with the ability to work with diverse colleagues
