Job Summary
Execute validation of multiple novel drug targets using cell/molecular immunology methods; generate knockout/knock-in in cells; test effects of tool compounds on proteins in cellular and biochemical settings; utilize Vividion’s proprietary chemical proteomics platform; apply standard cell biology, molecular biology and immunology techniques (qPCR, cloning, CRISPR KO/Knock-in, western blots, primary cell and cell line-based assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, ICC); contribute to target validation and mechanism-of-action studies in oncology/immunology programs.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in biology, molecular biology, immunology or related field
- PhD with 0-2 years experience or BS/MS with 10+ years experience in molecular/cellular biology or related field
- Experience with qPCR, CRISPR KO/knock-in, siRNA/shRNA transfection, Western blot, ELISA, AlphaLISA and MSD assays
- Experience validating cellular assays using primary cells or cell lines
- Experience in assay development for compound screening and mechanism of action studies
- Proficiency in T cell assays and Immunocytochemistry (ICC) preferred
