Job Summary
Scientist I/II with a focus on translational assay development and clinical sample testing to evaluate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic responses to NK cell therapies. Develop and conduct cell-based assays (immunophenotyping, cytotoxicity, cell proliferation) and serum cytokine/chemokine analyses (MSD platform preferred); perform molecular assays (DNA isolation, ddPCR/qPCR) for biomarker quantification; process human blood samples for biomarker analysis; lead and support assay transfers to CROs, review translational data analyses, troubleshoot issues, and ensure complete datasets for ongoing clinical trials in autoimmunity. Ensure compliance with protocols, SOPs, and safety practices. Standout skills include flow cytometry expertise, cytokine analysis, molecular assays, data analysis and reporting, and collaboration with CRO partners.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in immunology, life sciences or related discipline with at least 2 years of experience or MS degree with 7+ years or BS with 10+ years of experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry (panel design, sample acquisition, data processing)
- Immune cell functional assays (proliferation, cytokine production, cytotoxicity)
- Molecular assays (DNA isolation, ddPCR/qPCR)
- Experience with human immunology and NK/B/T/myeloid cells
- PBMC isolation and cryopreservation
- Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication and data quality
- Experience with FlowJo/OMIQ, GraphPad Prism
- Attention to detail, problem solving, time management
- Compliance with SOPs and lab safety
