Scientist I role in Cyprotex’s Drug Metabolism team at Alderley Park, UK. The role is laboratory-based and involves performing drug metabolism assays (both manual and with liquid-handling robots), data processing to high quality within scheduled timeframes, and ownership of specific assays from planning to delivery. The Scientist will train and develop others, support assay development and validation, ensure quality documentation and processes, and collaborate with Information Systems teams to drive improvements. Candidates should have MSc or BSc degree with laboratory experience and direct experience in in vitro drug metabolism/drug-drug interaction assays, plus familiarity with LC-MS/MS or LC-ToF-MS analysis, liquid handling robotics (e.g., Tecan EVO), and strong data-analysis and troubleshooting skills.
