Job Summary
QA Analytical Chemist role performing inline testing of filtration and membrane products; conducts ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, and TOC analyses; sets up analytical standards, prepares reagents, and delivers production chemicals for testing. Analyzes and interprets test data, maintains documentation of test operations and ensures data quality and integrity; performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of testing equipment; handles waste disposal per safety procedures; collaborates in a team and with production to meet timelines. 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:30. Requires at least a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience; ICP MS, HPLC, GC FID/MS experiences are preferred; experience with a LIMs/Labware system is a plus; exposure to ISO 9000 environments is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related scientific discipline
- at least 1 year of relative work experience
- experience with ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, LC-CAD, GC-MS and GC-FID/MS preferred
- familiarity with LIMS (Labware) system a plus
- good data quality and documentation practices
- ability to work independently and in a team
- ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
