Job Summary
Develop test methods, execute complex physical tests, and interpret physicochemical findings for pharmaceutical products. Design, optimize, and standardize experimental procedures while reporting protocols, metadata, and conclusions to the lab manager. Review internal data and reports, maintain equipment, and ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and GLP/GMP practices. Record all results accurately in electronic and paper forms. This role requires a master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related fields, fluency in English, and experience with digital laboratory equipment and hazardous substances. Based in Beerse, Belgium, the position offers a permanent contract with flexible hours, meal vouchers, and access to a collaborative international team.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, physics, engineering, or related field
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Proven experience as Lab analyst or relevant position
- Experience in operating digital laboratory equipment
- Experience in working with potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, PBOEL 1 - 4)
- Familiar with Safety-Health-Environmental principles and with GLP/GMP lab practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
- Experienced with digital lab notebooks
- Ability to work autonomously on parallel projects with multiple people
- Experience with pharmaceutical formulation processes and development of physical test methods, data-processing, and interpretation
- A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job
- A Permanent contract with flexible working hours

Desired Qualifications
- A PhD
- Physical characterization techniques – DSC, TGA, DVS, XRD, powder flow
- Formulation processes: experience with direct compression, granulation, and coating
