Job Summary
Scientist - Discovery Research focusing on nutraceutical ingredient development, clinical evaluation, and regulatory alignment. Responsibilities include evaluating and developing new nutraceutical ingredients and product concepts from ideation through formulation, critically evaluating clinical research and biostatistical analyses, assessing safety/efficacy/viability/regulatory compliance, delivering in-depth scientific evaluations and technical documentation to support ingredient selection, developing compelling product concepts for executive presentation, providing scientific interpretation for editorial and marketing content, ensuring scientific accuracy across internal documents, staying current on industry trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams, sourcing high-quality ingredients, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting AI-assisted workflows. Requires advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Nutritional Science or related field and at least 2 years of research experience; strong communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with FDA regulations and AI tools in research. Limited travel; 2 onsite days per week in Fort Lauderdale, FL; on-site work is essential.
