Job Summary
Scientist (Sonographer) for the Surgery Diagnostics team in Mattawan, MI. Responsible for performing diagnostic surgical procedures, developing imaging models, setting up studies, and completing procedures with supervision of staff. May supervise others and contribute as Contributing Scientist or Principal Investigator, developing protocols in line with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and budgetary needs. Provides mentorship/training to Associate Scientists and staff; supports study Directors and Sponsors; manages study records and pre-study preparation; supports pricing estimates for surgical components; and may contribute to publications or presentations. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience and an associate/bachelor’s/master’s degree, with relevant certifications preferred (RCDS, RDMS, RVT). Must be able to work extended hours as needed and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.”,
Required Qualifications
- Associate/bachelor’s/master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Certification/Licensure: RCDS, RDMS, or RVT (preferred)
- Ability to perform complex diagnostic sonographic procedures (e.g., echocardiography, ultrasound-guided biopsies, musculoskeletal ultrasound, obstetric ultrasound)
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and validated systems
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future)
