Job Summary

Carry out study support procedures and medical treatment regimens for research animals, including triaging weekend emergencies and assisting with aseptic surgical procedures. Perform diagnostic radiography, administer anesthetic agents, and maintain accurate records of treatments, inventories, and study data. Collaborate with principal investigators and veterinarians to manage study timelines, recognize operational hurdles, and communicate results to cross-functional teams. Adhere to US and company-specific regulations regarding animal welfare and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Animal handling and dosing experience
  • Demonstrable passion for animal care and welfare
  • Technical and scientific skills and a willingness to understand the R&D process
  • Ability to independently recognize challenges (technical, scientific, or study-related) and provide relevant input for solution/problem solving
  • Proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Veterinary Technician certification preferred but not required
