Job Summary
Conduct hands-on laboratory experiments to maintain, expand, bank, and manage cell lines while generating CAR T cells. Perform and validate cytotoxicity, flow cytometry, ELISpot, ELISA, Luminex, and MSD assays. Oversee in vivo mouse studies and execute related ex vivo assays. Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and electronic records in accordance with safety policies and SOPs. Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to communicate findings through reports and presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 0-2 years, or Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years, or Bachelor's degree with minimum of 10 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques
- General lab skills, including aseptic techniques and human tissue handling
- Prior experience and be highly skilled at mammalian cell culture (aseptic techniques)
- Experience in primary cell husbandry, cytotoxicity assays, and flow cytometry
- Must be highly organized and able to work independently
- A high level of flexibility to support various other activities and the ability to learn new techniques outside of existing field of expertise
- Strong team orientation and passion for continuous self-development
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow protocols accurately
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to share experimental findings and collaborate with team members
Desired Qualifications
- Prior involvement in animal studies or hands-on animal handling
- Extensive hands-on experience with primary immune cell cultures and assays
- Experience working in a research or industry setting related to immunology and/or cell therapy
- Experience in industry or in a startup industrial setting
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to innovative research in the field of CAR T cell therapy
