Job Summary
Lead and support antibody discovery programs, developing technologies for mammalian immunization, B cell cloning, library development, and developability analysis; drive antibody discovery and optimization projects, contribute to platform development, and collaborate across teams to generate publishable results.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent practical experience documented by relevant publications
- Experience with mammalian immune cells, cell culturing, B cell cloning, murine or large mammal immunization, multicolor flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques
- Knowledge of basic B cell biology, immunization concepts, antibody responses, antibody engineering, display technologies and protein engineering
- Experience with membrane proteins/ion channels helpful
- Curiosity and passion for science demonstrated by reading scientific literature
- Natural inclination to seek out the data source and engage directly with problems
- Adaptable and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and interest in managing/mentoring others
- Communicates effectively and openly with colleagues and supervisors
