Job Summary
Individual contributor Scientist to support bioanalytical characterization for antibody candidates, guiding multiple projects per day as a Project Lead, providing technical guidance for antibody-based assays (SPR and ELISA), and reviewing data for customers. Will perform wet-lab benchwork ~50/50 with cross-functional teams, contribute to planning and feasibility reviews, and serve as a subject-matter expert in SPR for in vitro antibody discovery programs and contract services. Responsibilities include assay development, data analysis and reporting, and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders; requires strong knowledge of antibody characterization, Carterra SPR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and high-throughput assays, with demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Includes collaboration across Project Management and scientific departments, and participation in team meetings to drive efficient collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in a related technical field with 3+ years of biopharmaceutical analytical development experience, or MS with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Carterra SPR (operation and data analysis) and ELISA workflows
- Strong track record of developing, executing, and analyzing common assay formats for antibody discovery (high-throughput screening, epitope binning, ligand blocking analysis, affinity analysis, cell-based functional assays)
- Ability to troubleshoot scientific processes, prioritize in high-pressure settings, and report data accurately
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including external customer-facing communication
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mentality
