Job Summary
Independently develop and implement analytical methods to quantitate and characterize proprietary small molecules and oligonucleotides. Perform complex research lab assignments and troubleshoot non-routine methods, instrumentation, or software issues. Coordinate project work with departmental, functional, and external stakeholders while preparing technical presentations for team meetings. Enable systems to innovate workflows and serve as a technical resource and trainer. Work cross-functionally to build internal capabilities and represent the functional area on cross-functional teams. Participate in external interactions to support method development, transfer, and analysis.
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering, or related pharmaceutical science with 1+ years relevant experience
- MS degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering, or related pharmaceutical science with 6+ years relevant experience
- BS degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering, or related pharmaceutical science with 8+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated involvement in professional community evidenced by presentation of scientific posters or lectures at professional conferences or events
Desired Qualifications
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience with oligonucleotides in addition to traditional synthetic molecules
