Job Summary
As a Scientist at Pace, you will perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods; you will calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments, document procedures and results to ensure high-quality lab records, and work in a safety-conscious laboratory environment with provided PPE. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field (training is provided), and the position emphasizes hands-on analytical work in environmental testing within a collaborative laboratory network. You will contribute to producing accurate environmental data that supports community and ecosystem safety, with full-time responsibilities in our Minneapolis laboratory and a comprehensive benefits package upon employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves)
