Job Summary
Perform scientific reviews of customer documentation to determine relevant internal and external testing capabilities and partner with external laboratories to support feasibility assessments for new protocols. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop proposal documentation outlining testing locations, parameters, and logistics while working with Project Services to manage post-award changes to testing parameters, sample management, and biobank activities. Lead scientific initiatives and process improvement projects, providing troubleshooting guidance and technical expertise for CAPA investigations, deviations, and resolution activities. Provide mentorship and training support to junior team members while evaluating validation feasibility for new testing methodologies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, four years of experience in a regulated lab environment, and strong knowledge of clinical laboratory testing terminology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of experience in a regulated lab environment
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory testing terminology, processes, and equipment
- Sound understanding of validation processes within the assigned technical area
- Understanding of the clinical trial process and associated dependencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, clients, external laboratories, and subject matter experts
- Demonstrated everyday leadership, mentoring, and project management capabilities
- Ability to synthesize information across multiple scientific and operational disciplines
- Ability to complete projects and deliverables within established timelines and business expectations
