Job Summary
Conduct administrative and portfolio analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of the NHLBI HIV/AIDS program, preparing reports that assess progress against established goals and funding milestones. Coordinate scientific initiatives including Program Announcements, Requests for Applications, and Requests for Proposals while managing coding of HIV/AIDS grants and developing standard operating procedures. Synthesize research findings, draft top-line reports, and present updates to leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and DHHS grant policies. Maintain public and Intranet websites, organize manuscripts for review, and facilitate communication among cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in biology or related scientific field
- Minimum of FIVE (5) years of scientific focused program management experience
- Experience involving stakeholder engagement, coordination and collaboration
- Ability to perform scientific program and portfolio management
- Communication and technical writing
- research analysis, metrics and reporting activities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'public trust'

- Knowledge with NIH grants and/or federal research administration knowledge experience
