Job Summary
Analytics-focused Scientific Data Analyst role within Vaccines Biostatistical Sciences. Design, build, and validate end-to-end evidence pipelines for clinical trial data (SDTM/ADaM), collaborating with biostatisticians to deliver reproducible, submission-ready outputs (tables, listings, figures). Promote modern programming practices by transitioning from SAS to open-source languages (R, Python) with emphasis on version control, code review, modular programming, and reproducible research. Leverage AI/ML to accelerate data workstreams, develop reusable analytical tools and pipelines, and contribute to evolving standards in statistical programming. Stay at the frontier of AI/ML tools and open-source developments to bring innovative solutions to clinical development. About you: experience with real-world data analysis through academic projects or industry internships; strong Python/R skills; demonstrated leadership and collaboration in diverse settings; AI/ML enthusiasm and automation mindset; Master’s degree in relevant quantitative field; English fluency. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Sciences/Machine Learning, applied mathematics, Engineering with quantitative specialization
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation, visualization, reproducible workflows, and analyses
- Experience with clinical data analysis projects or healthcare analytics (academic projects, internships in pharma/biotech/CRO)
- Ability to translate SAPs into robust, well-documented code and collaborate with biostatisticians
- Leadership and teamwork skills in multicultural settings
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and automation to improve programming workflows
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
