Job Summary
Contribute to ongoing international cooperation endeavors in meteorological measurements and data, designing and implementing operational and sustainable solutions for meteorological networks, instrument maintenance and calibration, data management, and staff training in collaboration with international partners. Produce reports, concept notes, and other technical documentation; assist in acquiring new projects abroad; present contributions at international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Demonstrate an agile, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities, teamwork, and hands-on experience with databases, virtual machines/cloud computing, and Python. Fluent in English and another official language; willingness to travel internationally. Start immediately (sofort); temporary position up to 31.03.2029, managed by Head of the Atmospheric Data Division and HR Business Partner.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in natural sciences or engineering; a PhD is a plus
