Job Summary
Hybrid sales and customer success role for Scientific Account Executive at Adaptyv. Primary point of contact for customers, discuss binding kinetics, expression systems, and assay design; onboard new customers and design their first experiments on the platform; monitor ongoing accounts and flag issues; troubleshoot with biology team; identify expansion opportunities; build proposals and quotes; represent at conferences and industry events; develop customer insights for product and biology teams. Requires scientific depth in protein engineering and experience in customer-facing technical roles; ability to earn trust with PhD-level protein engineers and CSOs while driving revenue and account growth.
Required Qualifications
- Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role: field application scientist, technical sales, scientific account management, or similar. CRO or biotech vendor experience is a strong plus.
- Commercially driven with focus on revenue, pipeline, and closing deals.
- Strong communicator capable of adapting to technical and business audiences.
- Self-starter with ability to manage own pipeline and priorities.
- Genuine interest in AI-driven protein design and the field.
