Job Summary
Science Teacher SY 26-27 responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students, using multiple data sources (including the 8-step process and Acuity) to inform instructional decisions, planning daily lessons, employing diverse instructional strategies, maintaining an engaging classroom environment, and collaborating with teachers, students, and parents to support student growth and communication of academic needs. The role requires integrating technology and the arts into instructional plans, effective classroom management, and leveraging data collection to monitor progress and adapt instruction accordingly. The candidate should hold a valid Indiana teaching license, have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Secondary Education (or related field), and preferably have recent relevant experience while not being on a performance improvement plan.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Teaching License
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary/Secondary Education or related field
- Highly Qualified
- Prefer experience in the grade/content level during the past 3 years
- Must not currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan.
