Job Summary
Science Teacher responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction in science and creating instructional environments that promote students' educational and social development. Duties include managing instructional time, student behavior, instructional presentation, monitoring student performance, and providing feedback. Supervises teacher assistants, adheres to professional standards, maintains records, and performs non-instructional duties. Requires a degree in education or a related area qualifying for NC licensure and the ability to implement curriculum goals, standards, and assessments with a focus on student growth.
