Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for middle and secondary science students. Develop lesson plans, establish clear objectives, and utilize diverse resources to support students at varying progress levels. Instruct students in the use of learning materials, monitor individual progress, and provide feedback on assignments and tests. Maintain accurate records of student development, prepare required reports, and manage classroom behavior through established rules and procedures. Participate in department meetings, professional development, and the total school program evaluation while fostering communication with parents. Stay current with subject developments and perform other tasks assigned by the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university
- Certification as required by the state of South Carolina in the field of Science (Middle Level - 1G and/or Secondary Science - 12)
