Science Teacher

Supervise students within the classroom and other assigned areas while developing and delivering group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines. Adapt instructional materials to address individualized learning plans and administer developmental testing programs to assess student competency levels. Collaborate with instructional staff, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes, and manage student behavior to ensure a safe, optimal learning environment. Direct assistant teachers and student workers, monitor students during field trips, and respond to emergency situations or inquiries from various sources. Prepare written materials documenting student progress and report suspected abuse to the site administrator.
