Job Summary
Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP's academic vision while analyzing student data regularly to inform instruction and support growth. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment grounded in Restorative Practices and Social Emotional Learning, utilizing culturally responsive strategies to ensure safety and high expectations. Communicate proactively with families and colleagues to build partnerships, maintain accurate records including attendance and behavior data, and engage fully in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice. This full-time, exempt position on a school year calendar cycle supports a network of 7,000+ students across East Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, and Stockton, preparing them for college, career, and beyond.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject of your desired role
- Be eligible for a General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit
