Job Summary
Science Teacher (6-8) for 26-27 SY provides instruction in the core science subject, develops and implements lessons aligned with district and TEA guidelines, differentiates instruction for diverse learners, assesses student achievement, and collaborates with special education staff. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; use of technology to support the learning process; and active participation in professional development and campus activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- At least one-year student teaching or approved alternative certification program internship
