Science Teacher 2026-2027

Plan, organize, and implement an instructional program in a learning environment that guides students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Develop course syllabi and lesson plans; plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning; collaborate with the department to provide consistent, sequenced experiences aligned to state standards; establish clear objectives; prepare the classroom; provide a variety of learning materials; identify resources and methods to meet diverse needs; instruct and monitor students in the use of materials and equipment; use technology to support instruction; observe and evaluate student progress; assign and grade work; provide feedback; monitor individual student progress; maintain accurate records and required reports; manage classroom behavior; participate in extracurricular activities and meetings; communicate progress to students, colleagues, and parents; stay up to date with developments in subject area and teaching resources.
