Job Summary
Demonstrate a student-centered approach to instruction for grades 9-12, integrating multi-modality instructional approaches in lesson planning and delivery. Contribute to the IEP/Treatment Plan process by establishing data-based present levels of performance, accommodations, and modifications. Prioritize a safe, secure learning environment through social emotional learning and PBIS campus approaches with high fidelity. Collaborate formally and informally with teaching assistants, therapists, social workers, nursing, and behavior specialists regarding student supports. Participate in a reflective professional development process to foster continuous growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Connecticut Teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain a teaching certificate
