Job Summary
Science/Math Teacher for the Learning Center, part of Bonny Eagle High School's Alternative Education program. Primary responsibility will be Science with a preference for a dual Math/Science certification; however, only Science certification is required. Role involves collaborative, relationship-based teaching in a standards-based curriculum with a focus on whole-student development. Required Qualifications
- degree(s) required in major area of study
- Maine Department of Education certification with a Science endorsement
- experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned
- demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues
- evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth
