Job Summary
Supervise and provide instructional support in anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, microbiology, and physics laboratories across the designated campus. Manage laboratory equipment, materials, software, hardware, and chemicals while ensuring adherence to safety procedures and hazard precautions. Work with quantitative information to maintain rigorous curriculum standards for the School of Pure and Applied Sciences. This role supports the Associate of Arts Degree by fostering academic excellence and preparing students for lifelong learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in biology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry or related appropriate science
- Knowledge of the equipment, materials, software, hardware, chemicals, attesting instruments, etc., that are appropriate to the laboratories assigned
- Knowledge of potential laboratory hazards, precautionary measures and appropriate safety procedures
- The ability to work with quantitative information
