Job Summary
School Social Worker/Clinician (SSW/C) provides assessment/evaluation, prevention and intervention services, counseling, and crisis triage to support students' academic achievement and social-emotional learning within Lynn Public Schools. Responsibilities include collaborating with families and community providers, promoting SEL initiatives, contributing to wellness teams, ensuring confidentiality, and participating in professional development. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work (or related counseling field) and licensure (LICSW/LCSW/LMHC) with experience in urban districts preferred. This is a long-term substitute role within an urban, linguistically diverse school district.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor, All Levels
- Master's degree in Social Work or Master's degree in related counseling field
- LICSW, LCSW or LMHC licensure
