Job Summary
The Van Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and proper conduct of students during transportation. Key duties include monitoring students' behavior, maintaining attendance records, assisting with loading and unloading, and providing support in communication with students and staff. Essential skills include the ability to follow instructions, establish effective working relationships, and maintain a safe environment. Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma, be at least 18 years old, and hold a valid Pennsylvania driver's license or photo ID.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and co-workers
- Ability to verbally communicate clearly with Operations Manager, Dispatcher, students, drivers, school officials, and parents
- Ability to successfully pass required State and Federal Background Checks and Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures established by company
