Job Summary
Transport students to and from school and special events like field trips while adhering to specific route schedules. Maintain passenger safety by monitoring traffic and weather conditions, conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and enforcing conduct rules on the van. Report fuel consumption, mileage, delays, accidents, and emergencies monthly or immediately as needed. Keep the vehicle clean through weekly washing, sweeping, and dusting. Respond to both emergency and non-emergency situations while driving.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent driving skills
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass physical and drug test
- Must obtain required clearances
- Patience
- Excellent communication skills
