Job Summary
Conduct morning and afternoon student pickups and drop-offs, supervising boarding and unloading while assisting students with mobility aids. Maintain vehicle safety by performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits, reporting mechanical issues immediately. Keep the vehicle clean and sanitary, obey all traffic laws, and communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. Maintain order on the vehicle to prevent distractions. This part-time role offers split shifts, flexible scheduling, and a guaranteed minimum of four paid hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Looking for a part-time schedule and summers off
- Enjoy working with students
- Subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee
- DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
- In the state of Washington, subject to drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis
Desired Qualifications
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
