Job Summary
School Van/Bus Driver for Little People’s College transport team. Responsibilities include assisting children aged 1 month to 13 years into seats and restraints, following established driving routes, and ensuring safety during rides. On-the-job training provided; extensive benefits package available and competitive wages commensurate with responsibilities and licensure. Must have 7D license (or bus with student endorsement) and be able to read English; knowledge of the Greater New Bedford and/or Wareham areas is helpful. Scheduling includes part-time shifts Monday through Friday, with morning and afternoon windows. Benefits include 401(k) with matching, dental, life, vision, paid time off, and retirement plan. Required Qualifications
- 7D license (or bus with student endorsement) required
- Must be able to read English and follow driving routes
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Be licensed driver for 3 consecutive years
- Must be 21 to 70 years old per 7D
- Be in good standing with Registry of Motor Vehicles
