Job Summary
School Transportation Driver responsible for safely transporting youth to and from school, maintaining a calm, respectful milieu in the van, and coordinating with Education & Career Resources and other agency staff. Duties include following agency policy and state laws, handling transportation paperwork, and applying CPI-based de-escalation and behavior management techniques. This is a part-time role at Mercy Home, with shifts 6:45-8:45am and 2-4pm on weekdays during the school year, located at Walsh (Girls) Campus, Chicago, IL. Requires at least 21 years old, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to drive a van with a clean driving record. Compensation is $22.00 hourly.
